Northbridge High lauds NHS inductees.
Thirty-two students shared an array of readings and musical selections to showcase the importance of the four principles of membership in the society. They reflected on their personal journeys so far and their lives to come as future scholars.
The program opened with a procession of current National Honor Society members and inductees, led by a bagpipes performance of "Scotland the Brave," performed by current chapter President Jack Green. He then went to the microphone for the opening comments.
The inductees then shared readings and music, which included ways they've been inspired by characters ranging from technology leader Steve Jobs; UCLA Coach John Wooden; and Principal Michael Gauthier. These people demonstrated the virtues of the four pillars of the society in pursuing their dreams.
