North stops Marshfield.

Dan Winterstein went 4-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Shawn Peterson had 11 strikeouts in six innings to lead North Eugene to an 8-3 Midwestern League baseball win Wednesday at Marshfield.

Churchill 10, Willamette 1: Drew Irsfeld and Jerad Thompson each had home runs for the visiting Lancers.

Sheldon 5, Thurston 4: Caleb Carter was 2-for-4 with three RBIs to lead the Irish to the road win in eight innings.

Lebanon 4, South Eugene 3: Kyle Sanders and Alex Kuhns each had a pair of hits, and the host Warriors scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth for a come-from-behind victory.

Harrisburg 14, Mapleton 4: Aaron Strutz was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs for the visiting Eagles.

Waldport 5, Jefferson 4: Blake Dahl was 3-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI to lead the Irish to the home win.

Oakridge 11, McKenzie 0: Eric Fogg hit a home run, and Nick Harris and Steven Edwards each had four hits to lead the host Warriors.

Lowell 3, Crow 0: Corey Steele singled in Mac Green to break a scorless tie in the top of the seventh inning of a win over the host Cougars.

Monroe 4, Central Linn 3: Collin McClaughry drove in Kevin Ballard for the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning for host Monroe.

Mohawk 16, Alsea 0: Tony Brayton struck out 13 and Rusty Warren had four RBIs for the visiting Indians.

Softball

Sheldon 2, Thurston 0: Teea Rogers tripled to lead off the fourth and scored on a Kaycee Gamez single, and Niki Stafek stole home in the fifth to lift the host Irish to the Midwestern League victory.

Churchill 6, Willamette 0: Kelly Dyer was 4-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs and struck out 11 in four innings to earn the win for the host Lancers.

South Eugene 5, Lebanon 0: Tristin Armstrong allowed two hits and struck out seven to shut down the visiting Warriors.

North Eugene 3, Marshfield 1: Makenzie Ficek scattered four hits over seven innings, striking out five for the host Highlanders.

Elmira 10, Pleasant Hill 8: Ashley Lokey was 4-for-5 with five RBIs for the visiting Falcons in a Sky-Em League win.

North Bend 4, Sutherlin 0; North Bend 3, Sutherlin 2: Ashley Canup had the go-ahead RBI in the sixth inning of the second game of the Far West League doubleheader at North Bend.

Monroe 9, Central Linn 1: Molly Wheatley scattered three hits and struck out seven for the visiting Dragons in the Trico League win.

Waldport 19, Jefferson 8: Kendall Clawson was 4-for-5 with five RBIs and four runs to lead the host Irish.

Crow 9, Lowell 1: K.C. Hatch was 3-for-4 with four runs to lift the host Cougars.
