North Korea Fires Three Missiles into Sea.

TEHRAN (FNA)- North Korea fired on Sunday three short-range missiles into the East Sea, which is supposed to be additional test-firing of anti-ship missiles following the same tests in February and May, South Korea said in a statement.

"The North fired three KN-01 missiles from its Eastern border town of Wonsan onto Mayang Island (in the East Sea) between 4:21 p.m. and 4:47 p.m. today," the statement read, Sputnik reported.

The Korean peninsula has formally been in a state of war since the 1950-1953 Korean War ended in an armistice.
