North City News: Tearing off a strip for charity; STREETLY.

THREE brave men will be hoping to become silky smooth operators in Streetly when they get their legs waxed for charity next week.

The three friends will be raising cash for the Prostate Cancer Charity during the simultaneous waxing at Re-Aqua in Streetly on Saturday.

Jeff Dorman, 33, from Coventry, Dave Collins, 40, from Rednal and Richard Oreton, 26, from Cannock, decided to help the charity when Jeff's dad died of Prostate Cancer earlier this year.

Jeff said: "After my dad died I decided wanted to do something to help the many men out there diagnosed with prostate cancer.

"None of us have had anything waxed before so we are not looking forward having the leg waxing done, but we are all agreed it'll be worthwhile if we manage to reach our target of pounds 1000 and can a play a part in helping The Prostate Cancer Charity achieve it's aims with our fund-raising efforts."
