CASES heard at Birmingham Magistrates Court on August 24 included: Paul John Heath, 36, Watwood Road, Shirley, stole two window blinds to the value of pounds 61 from Dunelm Ltd, fined pounds 200, costs pounds 138, compensation pounds 61' Rachel Gibson, 36, Ninfield Road, Tyseley, damaged a window to the value of pounds 300, theft of DIY equipment worth pounds 18.66 from Wicks Building Suppliers store, drink driving, driving without insurance, breach of conditional discharge, fail to comply with community order, banned from driving for three years, 18 months community order to include alcohol treatment' Kenneth Green, 51, Pritchett Tower, Arthur Street, Small Heath, drink driving, driving without insurance, seven months in prison, including previous five month suspended sentence, Dilveer Singh Rayat, 22, Westbourne Road, West Bromwich, drink driving, banned from driving for 16 months, fined pounds 300, pounds 70 costs' Mohammed Ali, 31, Belchers Lane, Bordesley Green, stole five packets of razor blades to the value of pounds 29.44 from Morrisons, stole a kettle worth pounds 25 from Hitchens, stole batteries worth pounds 29.90 from Netto, community order for 18 months, including participation in offender substance abuse programme, pounds 100 costs' Amjed Mahmood, 40, Clifton Close, Aston, drive without insurance, without a test certificate, wilfully obstruct a PC in the execution of his duty, in possession of cannabis, banned from driving for 12 months, fined a total of pounds 385, costs of pounds 50, order to destroy cannabis' Trevor Wayne Drakeley, 43, Balfour House, Cawdor Crescent, Ladywood, drove while disqualified, without insurance, fail to surrender to custody, sent to prison for 18 weeks, banned from driving for four years' Tobias Thomas Patrick English, 29, no fixed abode, assault two PCs in the execution of their duty, fail to surrender to custody, sent to prison for ten weeks' Abid Rehman, 26, Gorsley Piece, Woodgate Valley, Quinton, drive while disqualified, sent to prison for eight weeks' Mohammed Imran Sadiq, 20, Glovers Road, Small Heath, two offences of driving while disqualified and without insurance, also obstructed a PC in the execution of his duty, sent to prison for three months, banned from driving for two years' Kirk Smith, 19, Yardley Wood Road, Billesley, used threatening words or behaviour, fined pounds 100, costs pounds 85, compensation of pounds 50' Darren Martin Bardsley, 32, Bond Drive, Castle Vale, found in an enclosed yard, namely Orion Building apartments, for an unlawful purpose, fail to surrender to custody, sent to prison for one month' Adam Paul Wilkins, 18, Harvington Road, Weoley Castle, drive while disqualified and without insurance, drive a car knowing it had been taken without the consent of the owner, sent to prison for 13 months including previous four months suspended sentence for driving while disqualified, fined pounds 300, banned from driving for two years.
