North American Publ. to launch "Picture Business" in September.
Targeted to image retailers, the title is "dedicated to the photo specialty and imaging mass-market channels," NAPCO said, and is taglined "strategy for today's imaging retailer." Editorial will focus on "important business issues affecting today's image retailer" and will include information on business operations and the industry innovations "that continue to change the face of the imaging market," NAPCO said.
CTPG president Eric Schwartz said that because of the ongoing industry changes, "we feel that the market is ready for a fresh and vibrant new title to turn to for news and product information." CTPG also publishes trade titles Dealerscope and Custom Retailer and E-Gear, a consumer electronics magazine, and provides custom publishing services. NAPCO now produces 15 magazines, two trade shows and five subscription services. The company launched two magazines last year, including Graphic Design & Business and Fundraising Success.
