Communications technology company Nortel Networks and speech technology company Loquendo have announced a reseller agreement to jointly market Nortel Network's Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Media Processing server (MPS) 500/1000, Voice Processing Series Information Server (VPS/is) platforms with Loquendo's text-to-speech product.

The new software combination will be marketed as a total solution package as part of a global reseller agreement between the two companies.

Nortel Networks Speech Server solution runs on Windows 2000 servers, which supports natural language speech recognition, speaker verification engines and text-to-speech facilities.
