Norman ASA reports first-half operating profit of NOK14.4m.

Norwegian data security group Norman ASA has reported operating profit of NOK14.4m on net revenues of NOK120.5m for the first half of 2003.

Operating profit decreased from NOK19.1m while net revenues increased from NOK119.1m against the corresponding period last year.

In the second quarter Norman had net revenues of NOK58.5m, down from NOK61.7m a year ago, while operating profit declined from NOK10.8m to NOK6.6m.

Henning Hansen, the president and CEO of Norman ASA, said that the second quarter had been challenging but that the group was satisfied that it had continuing good profitability.
