Non-profit signs at 120 Wall.

In a leasing transaction negotiated by Atco Property Services Corporation, Inroads/N. Y. City, a national non-profit organization dedicated to career development in business and industry for talented minorities, has leased 10,000 square-feet of office space at 120 Wall Street, the Association Center.

Aggregate rental in this expansion/relocation is in excess of $2 million. Inroads/New York City, which was formerly located at 40 Rector Street, now occupies the entire 10th floor at 120 Wall Street. The organization signed for a 15-year term.

The Association Center, which is owned by real estate developer Larry Silverstein, is one of the few buildings in New York City in which real estate taxes have been waived for non-profit organizations. In addition to Inroads/N.Y. City, the building also houses Freedom House and many other non-profit organizations.

John K. Lord, director of Atco Property Services Corporation the commercial leasing division of The Hemmerdinger Corporation, was the sole broker in the transaction. Ed Kulik, Silverstein Properties was the owners representative.
