Nomura Research Institute Begins Compliance Consulting Service for Medical, Pharmaceutical Industries.

Tokyo, Japan, Apr 12, 2006 - (JCN) - Nomura Research Institute (NRI) announced on April 11 that it has begun offering a consulting service for medical and pharmaceutical companies.

NRI, which currently has 15 auditors authorized by the US Parenteral Drug Association, provides comprehensive support service Compliance Consulting to corporate customers.

The new service features solutions for computer system validation (CSV) as well as Electronic records/electronic signatures (ER/ES) in drug application procedure.

Going forward, NRI plans to expand the service through collaboration with overseas medical and pharmaceutical consulting firms. In addition, the company will hold seminars on the latest trend in CSV and ER/ES on April 12 (Osaka) and 14 (Tokyo).
