Nolan helps Park lift number of savings schemes.
Birkenhead-based Park Group, which sells vouchers, hampers and other gift products on a 45-week prepaid instalment plan, said orders were up 5% this year, while customer numbers were more than 1% higher at 415,000 and average order value was up 4% at pounds 417.
But the group reported a pre-tax loss of pounds 5.2m in the six months to September 30, compared to a pounds 4.5m loss last year, as 80% of orders are actually dispatched in the second half of the year.
Despite the upbeat outlook investors were not impressed by the results for the first six months of the year as Park shares fell more than 7%.
Park reported a 10% fall in revenues in the period to pounds 48.6m but still awarded a dividend of 0.525p to shareholders, a 5% increase on the previous period.
