Tyre manufacturer Nokian Tyres Oyj (HEL:NRE1V) reported on Thursday the receipt of an announcement from BlackRock Inc, on 24 April 2019, according to which BlackRock Inc's indirect holding and total holding in Nokian Tyres shares exceeded the level of 5% of the share capital in the company.

This is as a result of share transactions concluded on 23 April 2019.

The indirect shareholding of BlackRock Inc in Nokian Tyres has increased to 6,939,864 shares, corresponding to 5.02% of its shares and voting rights.

BlackRock Inc and its funds held on the deal date a total of 7,048,959 Nokian Tyres' shares representing 5.10% of company's 138,066,899 shares and voting rights.

Nokian Tyres develops tyres for passenger cars, trucks and heavy machinery. The group also includes the Vianor chain, specialising in vehicle maintenance and tyre services.
