Nokia launches I-HSPA solution.

NORDIC BUSINESS REPORT-14 March 2005-Nokia launches I-HSPA solution(C)1994-2005 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD http://www.m2.com

Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia said on Monday (14 March) that it had launched the Nokia Internet High Speed Packet Access (I-HSPA) solution at CTIA Wireless 2005.

The solution is a network innovation that would enable higher performance and more cost-efficient broadband wireless access.

The basic performance of Nokia I-HSPA would resemble that of the 'traditional' High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) solutions, namely High Speed Downlink & Uplink Packet Access, the company said.

Also at CTIA Wireless Nokia would be demonstrating HSUPA (High Speed Uplink Packet Access), a UMTS/WCDMA uplink evolution technology currently being standardized in 3GPP, in addition to HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access).
