Noise gang teen admits coma attack; WOUNDING.

A TEENAGER yesterday admitted joining in a vicious attack which left a man crippled for life.

Brandon Fisher, 19, and another youth turned on Andrew Toseland, 49,when he asked a gang of young people to keep the noise down outside his flat.

The severity of the attack left warehouseman Mr Toseland in a coma. He still cannot walk, lives in a care home, and will need help for the rest of his life, a jury was told.

Fisher admitted unlawful wounding. He restrained the victim's brother while Samuel Armstrong, 19, carried out the attack, Portsmouth crown court was told.

Armstrong, of Gosport, Hants, admitted assault causing grievous bodily harm, in August last year, at an earlier hearing.

Fisher was remanded in custody awaiting reports and both men will be sentenced in September.
