Noddy to be launched in China.
Children's character, Noddy, is to be launched in mainland China after Chorion, which owns the Noddy character, struck a five year deal with Chinese publisher, the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press.
The deal will see the 'Make Way for Noddy' TV series broadcast along with the roll out of new Noddy books and merchandise, as well as the 'Noddy Early Learning Curriculum' aimed at pre-school children.
Enid Blyton's 24 original Noddy books were released in China in 2002. The Noddy books have been translated into 40 languages with over 200m copies sold worldwide, reports Reuters.
