No public charges to be raised against Swedish boo.com book.

The Swedish chancellor of justice Gunnar Lambertz has dismissed a report regarding a book that is critical of Boo.com, a bankrupt Internet company.

Ernst Malmsten, the founder of Boo.com, had apparently reported the book, written by Gunnar Lindstedt, to the chancellor of justice. Malmsten had been hoping that a decision from the chancellor would have forced the book, published by a publishing company owned by the Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter, to be withdrawn, according to Finanstidningen, a Swedish business newspaper. Lambertz has decided that no public charges will be raised against the book for slander.

The title of the book is 'boo.com och bubblan som sprack' (boo.com and the bubble that burst).

The author has said that he approves of the decision.
