No one will be allowed to act above law in Assembly: Pervaiz Illahi.

Lahore -- Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Illahi has said that no one can be allowed to act beyond law and the constitution in the house.

To maintain decorum of the floor is the responsibility of Speaker.

While talking to media men in the Punjab Assembly premises, Speaker said no opposition leader in the past had ever used such abusive language against Speaker that is being used by incumbent opposition.

Neither do they think nor do they understand, Illahi said.

He said use of indecent language against Speaker Punjab Assembly shows depreciation in bringing up.

Pervaiz Illahi said that in the tenure of current opposition, their speaker at that time had suspended assembly membership of PTI members for four times but they didn't ever use any derogatory language against Speaker and also didn't make any vandalizing.

He said special committee of Assembly has been set up to estimate damage of furniture, mice and other recording instruments.

He said compensation will be made from those responsible of damage.

Replying to a question he said cases against Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif was filed in their own tenures when they were Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

Whatever action NAB has taken against them it makes no relation with Punjab Assembly or government ministers, therefore protest of opposition in the assembly is above understanding.
