No makeshift eid prayer locations -- ministry.

KUWAIT, July 1 (KUNA) -- Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be confined to mosques and no makeshift prayer places will be set up, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs said on on Friday. Ahmad Al-Qarawi, the ministry official spokesman, said in a statement that the ministry is coordinating with the Ministry of Interior for organizing the eid prayers, noting that no makeshift prayer locations will be established. He said that such temporary prayer locations would not be set up due to security considerations. The ministry mosques sector used to hold prayers at some public locations and squares. (end) amn.rk
