No luck for Deano.

DEAN SAUNDERS wasn't happy with a point against Kidderminster on Tuesday, but said there were plenty of positives for his Wrexham side to take from the performance.

The Dragons boss praised a "fantastic effort" from his players and said luck just wasn't with them on the night.

"We have lost one game in nine now but it was not the result I was looking for," said the manager.

"Obviously we are trying to catch that play-off pack and sometimes you feel as though you'd rather play awful and win.

"But we played well and they played a bit of football too.

"They stepped out to try and beat us and you saw what we can do to teams if they try and play like that."

Saunders added: "I've counted nine chances that we had off the top of my head. I thought the effort from the players was fantastic. On another day those chances would have gone in."
