No bad omen.

No Bad Omen

Have you noticed that construction on the AT&T regional distribution facility off Interstate 30 at Little Rock has stopped 12 weeks short of completion?

This shouldn't be viewed as a bad sign in the wake of AT&T's merger with NCR Corp., according to insiders.

The project was halted until NCR executives, who will be taking over the Little Rock operation, decide what to do with the shell building.

The fate of the 950 workers at the computer plant remains uncertain. But the inside word is that NCR will utilize the Little Rock assets. It's just a matter of deciding what the corporate mission will be.
