No action on abuse claim.

GARDAI have still not questioned a Christian Brother teacher over sex abuse allegations made over two and a half years ago, it was revealed yesterday.

Retired Garda Oliver Cooke took the statement from a former pupil at Artane Industrial School on April 3, 1996.

It detailed accusations of sexual abuse at the hands of the Christian Brother, but the man accused has still not been asked about the claims.

"This is a long time for someone to abuse children in a school," said Mr Cooke.

"It's unbelievable that nothing was done about this statement."
