Q WE have a boozy lunch culture at work but I'm not a big drinker and like to keep a clear head. How can I opt out of visits to the pub without seeming like a party pooper? - Dave, Falkirk.

A THE answer is simple - just don't give in to peer pressure. Having boozy lunches might be the norm at your place of work but you will not be doing your promotion prospects or liver any good. Have no fear about saying no to your colleagues because it will benefit you in the long run.
