REDMOND, Wash.--Nintendo of America has signed an agreement with Ocean of America to develop Mission: Impossible as an exclusive game for Nintendo 64, the 64-bit home video game system from Nintendo slated to reach stores Sept. 30. The Paramount Pictures feature film starring Tom Cruise and directed by Brian De Palma, based on the old TV series, opens May 22 nationwide. The video game of Mission: Impossible will combine puzzle-solving with arcade action that includes 360-degree character mobility and 3-D backgrounds. No release date has been set.
