Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA (OSE:OPERA) announced on Friday (3 October) that Nintendo has selected the Opera web browser for its new Nintendo DSi gaming console.
The dual-screened, WiFi-enabled and portable Nintendo DSi will start shipping in Japan in November 2008 and in the rest of the world in 2009.
The initial agreement was signed in December last year.
Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices.
