Nine injured in grenade attacks.

QUETTA, Aug. 13 -- Nine people, including a woman and a four-year-old girl, received splinter wounds in two separate incidents of hand grenade attacks in Kharan and Hub on Thursday. According to official sources, unidentified men hurled a hand grenade at a house in the Punjabi Mohallah near Rind Market in Hub. The grenade exploded in the courtyard of the house injuring the house owner Amjad, his wife Robina and their four-year-old baby. The attackers managed to escape. In a separate incident, a grenade was thrown into a house in Kharan. Six people were injured and were shifted to a government-run hospital. In another incident, explosives planted near Khuzdar Civil Secretariat exploded, however, no causalities were reported. staff report
