TOKYO (CyHAN)- Tokyo stocks ended 0.33 percent lower Wednesday, weighed down by cautions over market overheating following the Nikkei index's sharp gains last week.

The broader Topix index of all First Section issues on the Tokyo Stock Exchange finished 3.43 points, or 0.28 percent, lower at 1,233.43.

The turnover was 1765.7 billion yen (about 17.65 billion U.S. dollars). (Cihan/Xinhua)
