Nigerian online-only bank, Kuda, has announced that it has raised capital.

The firm has raised USD1.6m in a pre-seed funding round. The firm, which has offices in Lagos and London, had recently launched the beta version of its online mobile finance platform. Kuda also received its banking license from the Nigerian Central Bank.
