Nielsen Inks Another Multi-Year Deal With TV Broadcaster.
Stations in Watertown, N.Y., and the Columbus, Ga., market are the latest to ensure access to Nielsen Local TV measurement services. It's thanks to a freshly inked agreement between Nielsen and the owner of the broadcast TV properties, which are NBC affiliates.
The multi-year agreement was signed by SagamoreHill Broadcasting , licensee of WVNC-TV, branded as "NBC Watertown," and WLTZ-38, licensed to Columbus and also serving the Opelika, Ala., area.
"We are pleased to be working again with Nielsen," said Louis Wall, President and CEO of SagamoreHill Broadcasting. "Their local TV audience research, which includes coverage of broadcast-only homes, will enable us to accurately and comprehensively show our value to advertisers."
