Nicky's got a lotto reasons to be happy.

NICKY Byrne looks to be well suited for his job as the new host tonight's premiere of the National Lottery's million Euro Challenge.

The new show goes out at 8.10pm tonight and the 36-year-old former Westlife star said he's "thrilled" to be the big money host.

He added: "I've been working with The Million Euro Challenge team, learning all about the new games.

"I love the buzz of working on television and the best thing is I get to be part of a show that brings a lot of happiness to people's lives."

The show will see three players joined by a family member or friend to play games such as Crack The Code and Risky Business.

One contestant will get the chance to play for [euro]1million on the Million Euro Challenge Pyramid.
