Nick's Card Corner.

In his spare time, eleven-year-old Nick Krohn hangs out with Ken Griffey Jr., Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretsky, Joe Montana, and the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers. We're kidding, right?

Well, yes and no. As the owner of Nick's Card Comer, Nick sells trading cards featuring these sports and comic legends. He also sells comic books, autographed baseballs, and cartoon packages. Nick is the youngest business owner in Albion, Nebraska.

Nick's business grew from his love of card collecting. He has more than 100,000 cards! Seeing his enthusiasm, his parents suggested he open a card shop inside their downtown business. Nick had envisioned just setting up card tables in the corner of their shop. He was surprised when his dad completely remodeled an area of the store, adding rows of shelving, glass display cases, and a pegboard.

Nick runs his store after school and on Saturdays. When business is slow, he sorts cards, cleans the shop, or catches up on homework. Nick pays for the original inventory, and then gets to e money he makes. After all, s mom says, Nick is the store manager.
