Guess who's bounced back after her loss in the Dem gubernatorial primary?
That's "bounced back," as in found a job.
Yes, Jackie Cilley, adjunct prof at UNH and a marketing consultant, has turned her 18-point loss to Maggie Hassan into a gig as district director for incoming 1st District Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter.
Nice landing for a woman whose primary bid for governor was more like a campaign for the 2nd C.D., at least judging by the results. Of the five counties where Cilley won a majority of the votes, four (Cheshire, Coos, Graflon and Sullivan) are in the 2nd C.D.
Maybe after familiarizing herself with the 1st C.D. for a few years, Cilley can launch a statewide campaign for governor down the road.
