Niall shows off baby face, and his nephew, in Twitter photo.

POP star Niall Horan proved he was the Best Uncle Ever yesterday - as he lovingly posed with godson Theo.

But despite his joy at the family reunion, he lashed a rag paper for romantically linking him to his cousin.

The One Direction sensation has been at home in Mullingar, co Westmeath, since the tot's christening on Saturday evening.

And Niall yesterday showed off the cherished three-month-old to his millions of Twitter followers - admitting it was tough not to be able to see him more often.

He said: "Last time I saw this little man he was four weeks old! He is the best baby ever."

The 20-year-old singer made sure to come home with plenty of presents for big brother Greg's baby.

A source said: "Niall absolutely loves spoiling Theo.

"He's in love with him and always adores being able to give him lots of gifts and lovely things.

"Previously he gave Theo a crib, and always likes to go out of his way to show his affection - even if he can't always be at home to see him."

Meanwhile, Niall was yesterday fuming after he was romantically linked by a broadsheet Sunday paper to his cousin.

It claimed a gorgeous brunette was his new squeeze after being spotted at Theo's christening and at Niall's home in Westmeath.

But Niall's mum Maura said the entire Horan family was utterly "stunned" at the claim.

She added: "She's a cousin from Luton who came over with her parents to be at the christening.

"She was absolutely terrified when there were pictures taken of her and Niall was disgusted."
