NextChoice Unveils Next Generation Self-Service Platform For Restaurants; First Intelligent Self-service Platform; Announces Key Customer Wins, Pilot.

PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- NextChoice, the Smart Self-service[TM] company, unveiled today the industry's first intelligent self-service platform that unifies customer ordering and payment with the collection and management of customer transaction data and preferences into one fully integrated, centralized solution for one restaurant to thousands of stores. For the first time, restaurants can deploy self-service solutions that will have an immediate impact on top-line revenue growth and bottom-line operational expenses while allowing for the development of one-to-one customer relationships.

"The foodservice industry is on the verge of a fundamental change in the way it interacts with customers. Technology - specifically self-service technology -- is the primary catalyst for this change," said Michael Welts, president and CEO, NextChoice. "Society is becoming increasingly comfortable with all forms of technology and communications devices. Self-service technology creates a game-changing opportunity for market leaders in the restaurant, grocery and hospitality industries."

NextChoice has a dozen customers deployed across multiple stores such as Austin Grill and Not Your Average Joe's as well as a number of pilots in progress including Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits.

"NextChoice is the only self-service company I've found that has cracked the code on point-of-sale (POS) integration and successfully operationalized it across multiple stores," said Steve Silverstein, founder, chairman, president and CEO, Not Your Average Joes. "Self-service orders at all 12 Not Your Average Joe's are sent directly to the kitchen for preparation and the payment is instantly processed."

NextChoice's NextWave[TM] Intelligent Self-service System (NISS) represents the next generation in self-service providing centralized management, six different methods - or NextPoint Touchpoints - for a customer to order and pay and the complete seven layers of POS integration into single or multiple locations. The NextWave[TM] Intelligent Self-service System is an open standards-based self-service solution designed to be non-disruptive and mesh seamlessly with existing business operations.

"The recent Technomic's Takeout Study 2006 showed that 36% of the general population and over half of heavy restaurant users want more take-out options at full-service restaurants. Self-service technology will have a significant impact in responding to this growing consumer demand," said Ron Paul, president and CEO, Technomics, Inc., a leading business and intelligence firm for the restaurant industry. "Today, a handful of the larger chains offer Web Ordering as the self-service trend continues to build year over year."

Self-service growth in the restaurant industry is growing and stretching the boundaries of the physical footprint to generate more business for each store according to the National Restaurant Association 2006 Food Services Survey. The survey found that over 40% of restaurant customers polled would use a self-service kiosk and almost 60% would use curbside or Internet to go ordering.

Smart Self-service: Seven POS Integration Layers and Centralized Management

Full POS integration and centralized management are the keys to Smart Self-service. Full POS integration speeds transactions, eliminates re-keying orders, simplifies reporting and allows for the creation and execution of relationship sales and marketing campaigns to increase revenue. Centralized management allows pricing, branding changes and reporting to be performed locally, regionally or rolled-up into specific reports. Its powerful customer information management system enhances customer relationships, provides intelligent up-sell opportunities and creates targeted marketing promotions that can be distributed and managed from one location.
