Next Gen Personal Finance (NGPF), a non-profit with a mission to bring effective and engaging financial education to ALL high school classrooms in America, is sponsoring The PAYBACK Challenge, an essay contest with over USD 150,000 in prize money, the company said.

The first 2,500 educators who register online will nominate one student essay for this contest. Students will write a brief essay (of 250 words or less), after playing PAYBACK, which answers this question:

Over USD 150,000 in prize money will be awarded with 10 National Finalists (USD 5,000 each) and 150 Honorable mention winners (USD 500 each) and each state will have at least two winners. Educators will also be eligible for awards. Deadline for essay submission is 11:59pm Pacific Time on March 23, 2018.
