? IF you are an impatient cook, then a new design of saucepan stocked at Lakeland may be perfect. From next month, the store will sell Flare pans which speed up cooking and boast energy savings of up to 40%.
The pans, designed in partnership with an Oxford University professor, have fins to channel heat from the flame across the bottom and up the sides of the pan for increased efficiency. Starting at PS49.99, they will be available from late August.
? LAST week, George at Asda launched a PS2.50 T-shirt bra, making it the most affordable on the market. Ten days on, they have sold over 100,000 - the equivalent of seven bras being sold every minute. The popular design comes in six colour combinations - with three zesty shades perfect for summer (coral, cerise and lime) and three classic and practical neutral tones (black, white and nude). Available in sizes 32B - 38D.
