Dana Bivins Brown of the City of Jacksonville Air and Water Quality Division has been appointed vice chair, public service, of the ABA's Section of Environment, Energy and Resources, Air Quality Committee.

Andrew E. Grigsby of Hinshaw & Culbertson in Miami has been appointed by Gov. Bush to a four-year term on the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Third District Court of Appeal.

William J. Spratt, Jr., and Louise Jeroslow of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart in Miami spoke at a risk management program during the 15th International Cuban Medical Association Congress. Spratt spoke on the Bakarania case, the Board of Medicine's Fraud Committee and suspect arrangements. Jeroslow gave practical advice to physicians who are the subject of a Board of Medicine complaint.

Donny Frenette, program attorney, 10th Circuit Guardian Ad Litem Program, has been appointed to the Airport Advisory Committee for the City of Lake Wales.

Robert Grossman of Greenberg Traurig in Miami recently received the Greater Miami Jewish Federation 1999 Stanley C. Myers President's Young Leadership Award. Grossman was honored for his devotion to the needs of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation and the Miami Jewish community.

Joyce Sibson Dove of Tallahassee recently received the Paul Harris Fellow designation from the Tallahassee Northside Rotary Club. She was honored for her efforts to bring humanitarian aid to children in hospitals and orphanages in Ukraine.

Joseph D. Harbaugh, dean at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad Law Center, received the Judge Earle Zehmer Memorial Outstanding Service Award from The Florida Bar Technology Committee.
