Newmark relocates metal trader.

In a leasing transaction arranged by Newmark & Company Real Estate, Axel Johnson Ores and Metal, the metal trading division of Axel Johnson, Inc., has relocated to the 3,200-square-foot penthouse at 10 East 40th Street in Manhattan.

The 10-year leasing transaction, which has an aggregate rental valued at approximately $827,500, was negotiated by Edward D. Andrews of Newmark & Company Real Estate. Joseph P. Day Real Estate represented the building's lanlord.

Axel Johnson Ores and Metal was previously located at 110 East 59th Street. Its parent company, Axel Johnson, Inc., is relocating to southern Connecticut in spring 1992.
