New store opened by Books-A-Million in Indiana.


US-based book retailer Books-A-Million Inc (NASDAQ/NM:BAMM) has announced that it is to open a 16,642-square-foot store in Muncie, Indiana, located in the Muncie Mall on McGalliard Road and Granville Avenue.

According to the company the new store is replacing the smaller Bookland location that formerly occupied the mall and is the company's first location in Muncie and its fourth location in Indiana.

The new store will stock over 85,000 titles and will include a Books-A-Million's Faithpoint section and a Kids-A-Million section. In addition the store will feature Books-A-Million's Joe Muggs Cafe, a full line coffee and espresso bar.

Opening celebrations for the new store are scheduled to take place on 19-21 May.
