Network security, content security and messaging software provider GFI has launched its GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.3 for handling an organisation's patch management requirements.

The new software is capable of deploying patches for Microsoft Office as well as service packs for operating systems. The company has improved on the latest version by offering patches for systems that use the German, French and Italian languages as well as English. A Spanish version of the software is expected to be made available soon.

The software checks and analyses a network and indicates the vulnerabilities that a hacker could take advantage of to comprise a network's security.

The cost of the GFI LANguard Network Security Scanner 3.3 has not been announced.
