New revolutionary oven.

Leading baking technology group, Auto-Bake, recently opened a new test oven at its Chicago area test bakery. Located at the premises of Auto-Bake Americas--a joint venture between Auto-Bake and its North American distributor, Dunbar Systems--the new hybrid Serpentine oven features both electric radiant and gas-fired convection heating systems. This allows prospective purchasers and baking professionals to trial both radiant and convection heating options on a variety of baked goods.

Auto-Bake's marketing director, Amanda Hicks, said: "The capability to test-bake and run technical evaluations on our Serpentine systems has been a key differentiator of Auto-Bake for many years. We have always invited purchasers to be present for trials and test-runs; similarly, our clients have the opportunity to work with us to perfect their own recipes in our expanding network of test bakeries around the world."
