New retail center begins construction.

Construction has begun on Tice's Corner, a $25-million specialty retail center which will rise on a suburban 13-acre site in the Bergen County Borough of Woodcliff Lake.

The 120,000 SF, two-building complex will be an anchorless "lifestyle center," which relies on diversity of products and services offered, as well as shopping convenience, to entice busy, two-income professional families who are unable or unwilling to spend a lot of time on shopping, according to Starwood Heller LLC, developer of the property.
