New pub for event and meeting markets launched.
BizBash Idea Center (New York), a media company serving the special event, meeting and business entertainment community, has launched BizBash Event Style Reporter, a newspaper designed to encourage meeting and event professionals, marketers, and CEOs to book events in New York City. It will be published quarterly in 2002 and monthly beginning in 2003.The title has a controlled circulation of 10,000, 60% of whom are from a list of qualified BizBash registered users who are buyers of event and meeting services in NYC. The target audience also includes companies who will be exhibiting at upcoming trade shows and conferences and who need to plan additional events in NYC. Copies will also be distributed to NYC & Company, the convention and visitors bureau and related NYC outreach organizations.
The 60-page, four-color tabloid will include some editorial features similar to BizBash.com, including coverage of recent New York special events, a guide to new venues, and information on new products and services for event planners. Unique features include a venue, entertainment and event/meeting management directory, a planning calendar of future events, and reports on the top 100 "most important" annual events held in NYC.
BizBash said the new title will complement its Web site and encourage readers to visit the site to do more in--depth research for specialized vendors. BizBash founder and ceo David Adler said the publication has a "Unique editorial approach of covering real events, event ideas and creative solutions." The magazine will be a valuable resource for anyone who has to execute or plan meetings and events in NYC," Adler added.
BizBash also produces the BizBash Event Style Alert and the BizBash New York Event Calendar e-mail newsletters and the "BizBash Javits Event Expo."
