New providence road project.

NEW PROVIDENCE ROAD PROJECT. The Bahamas has received a US$43.4 million loan from the Inter-American Development Bank toward the cost of the New Providence Road Transportation Program (Loan LO-1320/OC-BH). Part of the proceeds will pay for goods, works, and related services to be procured under the roadway development component hereinafter referred to as the Completion of New Providence Road Improvement Project (CNPRIP). The project comprises the rehabilitation, improvement and expansion of the road network in predominantly urban areas on the island of New Providence in the Bahamas. Bid deadline: March 20, 2006.
