New online resource for entrepreneurs.
Telebase Systems, Inc. and Entrepreneurial Edge are making available a new online information resource that provides training material to support small business growth: Entrepreneurial Edge Online. This new resource is available on the Internet via Corporate EasyNet 2.0, an online business information service recently released by Telebase Systems, Inc. Entrepreneurial Edge Online will be available on additional networks later this year.
A "home office" for entrepreneurs, the database offers self-directed training modules that walk users, step-by-step, through marketing, promoting, and growing a small business. Original information developed specifically for this service by Entrepreneurial Edge provides clear and useful instruction on topics such as how to prepare a cash flow statement, how to create a sales brochure, and how to prepare a market analysis. Entrepreneurial Edge Online offers more than forty complete training modules for $7.50 each.
Entrepreneurial Edge, established in 1991, is the publisher of the small business training magazine Edge. The company also presents educational conferences and has launched a ten city national tour with the Small Business Administration that commenced this fall.
Entrepreneural Edge Online, coupled with the business resources in Corporate Easynet 2.0, offers the equivalent of a professional staff and a fully stocked library available for consultation when needed. We are excited about bringing this unique and very high quality data from Entrepreneurial Edge to small businesses using the Internet," said Jeffrey Magill, Telebase's vice president of marketing and sales. Established in 1984, Telebase provides customized information services to over three million people through 25 networks worldwide, including CompuServe Information Services, AT&T EasyLink, Genie, and NIFTY-Serve.
A subscription to Corporate EasyNet 2.0, including Entrepreneurial Edge Online, costs $49.95 per year and provides access to over 250 business information databases from sources such as Standard & Poor's, TRW, Moody's, Reuters, and Dun & Bradstreet. Search prices start at $1, full-text prices start at $2. A key feature: keyboard-to-keyboard interactive assistance from information specialists is available at no extra charge.
In addition to Gopher and Telnet access via Internet, customers can connect to Corporate Easynet 2.0 and Entrepreneurial Edge online via the public telecommunications networks provided by Compuserve Network Services, BT Tymnet, and SprintNet.
