New music festival RedFestDXB launches.

One can never have too many music festivals innit?

RedFestDXB, a two-day event dedicated to everything music will kick off on February 13 next year at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre. While most of the acts will be announced on a later date, the headline act for the second day, February 14, is booked: And it's American folk rock band The Lumineers.

This will be the five-member band's debut in the Middle East following the massive success of their self-titled debut album released last year.

The music festival will cover various musical genres with a dedicated dance stage called The RedHouse set up for local club DJs to spin their magic, said organisers.

"In addition to a great and varied line up of artists we will introduce some exciting new event features including The RedHouse venue, great F&B options, chances of winning artist meet & greets and so much more than what a normal concert can ever offer," said Thomas Ovesen COO of Done Events.
