New moldable & extrudable fluoropolymers.

Dyneon LLC, in Oakdale, Minn., has introduced two new fluoropolymer grades aimed at high-performance applications in gaskets, pipe linings, and automotive fuel hose.

Dyneon TFM X 1630 PTFE is a modified PTFE for compression molding thin-wall parts, sheets, and billets--especially valve seats, internal pump parts, and manifolds, gaskets, and liners for chemical pipes and vessels. This semi-free-flowing powder (200 microns) is said to improve processability without sacrificing properties of conventional PTFE. It also reportedly improves surface smoothness and dimensional stability.

THV X 815 G is a THV-type fluoropolymer aimed at inner barrier layers of automotive fuel hose. It offers much lower permeation than Dyneon's THV 500 resin for fuel hose. Tel: (800) 803-9374 * PT Direct: 576MT
