New management postings at Liquid Investments.

Nick Gagliardi, president of Liquid Investments, has announced two moves in the Liquid Investments senior executive management team.

Mark Herculson, currently sr. v.p. and general manager of Liquid's subsidiary, Mesa Beverage Co., Inc. in Sacramento, has been promoted to executive vice president of Liquid Investments, Inc. effective October 1.

Herculson joined Liquid in 1996 as a manager in training at their San Diego operation, after a very successful career at Pepsi and a short tenure with Miller Brewing. In 1998, Liquid acquired the Sacramento distributorship, Mesa Beverage Co., Inc. and under his leadership, almost doubled overall volume. For their notable growth in 2001, Mesa Beverage, Sacramento, was awarded the Miller High Life Achievement Award, Miller Brewing's highest award attainable. Herculson will be based in Santa Rosa and oversee operations of the Santa Rosa and Colorado distributorships and continue reporting to Gagliardi. Joe Simao, general manager of Santa Rosa's Mesa Beverage Co., Inc. and Chris Desiderio, general manager of Colorado Beverage Distributing, Inc. will now report directly to Herculson.

John Janosko, currently CEO for Muller, Inc., a distributor in Philadelphia, PA, will join Mesa Beverage Co., Inc. as vice president and general manager in Sacramento. Janosko has been with Muller for the past 11 years and oversaw the $60 million operation and 165 employees as CEO and also served as President and executive v.p. of sales and marketing. Prior to that, John spent nine years with Miller Brewing Co., in various sales capacities. Under Janosko's leadership, Muller was also a 2001 High Life Achievement award winner. Janosko will relocate to the Sacramento by November and will also report directly to Gagliardi.
