New fragrance has a familiar scent: eau de cash.

AN ENTREPRENEUR HAS CREATED TWO NEW PRODUCTS--a cologne for men and an eau de parfum for women--that he thinks banks might be interested in selling or giving to their customers. The products, called His Money and Her Money, feature the smell of money. Or perhaps you could call it the "fragrance of success"

Patrick McCarthy says the fragrance actually has an air of freshly minted money. Each bottle is packed tightly inside a box contain real shredded U.S. currency.

McCarthy says he was inspired by a Japanese study that showed a significant increase in worker productivity when the smell of money was pumped through vents into a factory One European financial institution is using the fragrances in promotional campaigns and giving them as gifts to valued customers.
