New farms on register.

NEW farming entrants are being reminded to register their business to ensure they do not miss out on the new Basic Payment Scheme.

All farm businesses must be registered with Rural Payments Wales before their owners can apply for payments before the May deadline.

Once registered, they should use RPW Online to complete the National Reserve Form to prove their eligibility.

They will then need to provide details of their land via the online Single Application Form. Both sets of forms must be received by RPW before May 15.

Meetings will be held across Wales giving advice on completing Single Application Forms.
