New deposits found.

Inco Ltd. says it has discovered new high-grade ore deposits at its Copper Cliff North Mine in Sudbury. The find will significantly increase its palladium and platinum production, a spokesperson says.

The company also announced it has increased the amount of platinum metals at its Totten deposit and identified "very high-grade" copper, nickel and platinum group minerals at its McCreedy East Mine. Inco expects to bring both discoveries into production quickly using existing mining infrastructure. The company plans to produce 416,000 ounces of platinum group metals this year from Inco ores and purchased materials.
